Thousands have gathered to demand justice for 13-year-old Zara Qairina Mahathir, who was reported to have died after falling from the third floor of her school dormitory.
As reported earlier by WORLD OF BUZZ, the Attorney General’s Chambers has ordered her grave to be exhumed for a second post-mortem.

“The injuries were as seen on social media”
In the latest update, the lawyer for the late teenager has confirmed that there were indeed injuries on her body, based on what he saw during the autopsy at the Queen Elizabeth I Hospital (HQEI) Forensic Department.
According to Sinar Harian, lawyer Shahlan Jufri said he spent eight hours in the autopsy room, closely observing the entire procedure carried out by the forensic team.
He confirmed that the injuries circulating on social media are accurate.
“Of course there were injuries. The injuries you’ve seen on social media are correct. As for the rest, I can’t share any details because the case is still under investigation and it’s confidential,” he said.

“I’m satisfied with how the process went”
Meanwhile, Shahlan Jufri said he couldn’t recall the exact number of injuries but confirmed there were fractures.
“As for what’s been going around online, I can’t remember exactly how many injuries there were, but yes, there were fractures and definitely injuries,” he said.
He also assured that the autopsy was done openly and without any outside interference.
“I’m satisfied with how it went. There was no interference from anyone, only those directly involved were there. The process was transparent, done with high integrity, and went smoothly,” he added.
