If you love A&W fast food, then this will be music to your ears!
Recently, A&W has collaborated with Honestbee for the first time ever to launch their delivery services. According to their operation chief, Mohd Hasmadi Zainal, they will first introduce their delivery services around the Klang Valley before expanding all over the nation, reported Berita Harian.
FYI, Honestbee is a famed food delivery service in Singapore and has recently become quite notable in Malaysia.
Hasmadi was quoted as saying,
“We will gradually expand the A&W delivery service to all of our outlets in Malaysia but, for now, we will focus on the areas within Klang Valley.”
In the launch of A&W delivery services, Hasmadi also revealed the locations of A&W outlets where the delivery service will be provided. The outlets with A&W’s delivery service are as mentioned below:
- Sri Petaling
- Kajang
- Cyberjaya
- Setapak Central
- Wangsa Walk
- Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman
- Sunway Geo
- Seksyen 7, Shah Alam
- PJ Palm
Therefore, Hasmadi said that his team is confident that the introduction of their delivery service, which is in partnership with Honestbee, will increase A&W’s sales by at least five per cent every month at every branch providing the service.
As for the delivery fee, it’s not far from the usual price. He said,
“There will be a charge of RM4.99 for each delivery and customers will get a 600ml bottle of Root Beer for free from 5 September to 18 October 2018.”
Yasss free Root Beer!
Moreover, he said that this delivery service will be available every day from 11am to 9pm and all the customers need to do is order your favourite A&W food via Honestbee’s website or mobile application.
However, before ordering, customers will have to enter their current location, choice of food, preferred time of delivery and customer details. Easy-peasy-lemon-squeezy.
On a different matter, Hasmadi added that as of now, A&W has a total of 43 branches all over Malaysia and a new one in Paradigm Mall Johor Bahru.
“We plan to open more branches in potential locations in the future,” he finally said.
Looks like we’re going to see more of them!
With that said, we hope that this new venture will be successful for A&W. Will you be ordering A&W now that their delivery service is up and running?
