About time to clear off those summonses don’t you think?

JPJ is offering a 70% discount on summonses including for cases that are still blacklisted beginning today. The offer stands from 13 April to 11 June in conjunction with JPJ’s 75th Anniversary, transport minister Datuk Dr. Seri Wee Ka Siong announced this week.

According to Transport Minister Daruk Dr. Seri Wee Ka Siong, there are around 3.5 million active summonses currently identified, beginning from 2010 to March this year, reported BERNAMA. That’s a lot of summonses– and discounts!

Those who want to try checking for your active summonses during this discount period can do so on the MyEG website, here. All payments of summonses with discounts can be made at all JPJ offices and online through the department’s official portal.

“I encourage the public to pay their summonses online to avoid congestion at RTD offices,”

He told reporters after RTD’s 75th Platinum Jubilee celebration yesterday. In conjunction with the anniversary, RTD also launched a special ‘FD’ for the Federal Territory of Putrajaya, which can be bid via the online vehicle registration number bidding system (JPJeBid), beginning yesterday.

Wee said the registration number bidding will be closed at 10pm on 16 April (Friday) and the results would be announced the next day (17 April).
