His Majesty the Yang di-Pertuan Agong Sultan Ibrahim has warned that more individuals are now on His Majesty’s “radar” in the fight against corruption, including those within the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC).
In a Facebook post, the King stressed that efforts to combat corruption must be carried out without compromise across all government departments and agencies, making it clear that such misconduct will not be tolerated in the country’s administration.

His Majesty further warned that the fight against corruption is not focused only on certain departments or just those who give and receive bribes.
“Be cautious as well, those in the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM), the Immigration Department (JIM), the Royal Malaysian Customs Department (JKDM), and many others. The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) is not exempt either.”
The Yang di-Pertuan Agong also issued a reminder that, regardless of rank, authorities, agents acting as “middlemen,” and suppliers of equipment, clothing, and medical supplies are all within His Majest radar.
“As the saying goes, ‘whoever eats the chilli will feel the heat.’ Do not think that I know nothing, I have my own intelligence sources,” the King stated.

Sultan Ibrahim also said that if any officer fails to carry out their duties with honesty and integrity, they should be transferred without delay.
The King stressed that efforts to fight corruption cannot be mere window dressing or empty words, as no one is above the law.
“I have other alternatives. If there are officers who are unable to carry out their responsibilities honestly, give the opportunity to those who are more qualified and clean to take over,” His Majesty decreed.
