The Malaysian Armed Forces (ATM) recently confirmed that a second-year cadet officer at the National Defense University (UPNM) was bullied, leaving burn marks after a senior pressed an iron on his chest.

In another incident that has come to light, a student from the same university was badly injured after being stomped on by a senior on October 21.

The student suffers from fractures

Kuala Lumpur District Police released a statement on Facebook revealing that the incident occurred around 10:45 PM after the victim attended a roll call.

The 19-year-old victim, who’s a first-year student, was stomped on by a third-year senior student at the university, which has since caused the 19-year-old victim to suffer fractures in the ribs and spine.

Kuala Lumpur Police Chief Datuk Rusdi Mohd Isa said the investigation showed the incident happened when the victim was standing by the university’s parade field after his name was called.

The victim is currently being treated at Kuala Lumpur Hospital for his injuries, and the case is being investigated under Section 325 of the Penal Code.
