Who doesn’t love cheesecake? Whenever you’re feeling low, a slice of cheesecake is all you need to brighten up your day. Probably sensing we’re feeling a little blue, Cat & the Fiddle reached out to us and offered us cheesecakes!
Cat & the Fiddle is Singapore’s first online premium cheesecake shop and it’s now come to Malaysia.Ā It’s founded by pastry chef Daniel Tay, Cat & the Fiddle promises that their cheesecakes are of high quality in its taste and texture in every slice.
They offer over 14 gourmet cheesecake flavours which simply made us more confused! In the end, we decided to go for the Fickle Feline that has TEN different slices of different flavours all in one cake.

- Modern Duke’s Pudding (Oreo Cookies & Cream)
- Over the Moon (Classic New York)
- Queen of Hearts (Sweet Strawberry)
- Paws of Fury (Yuan Yang Coffee & Tea)
- Sweet & Smokey Taffy (Salted Caramel)
- Sicilian Wild Cats (Tiramisu)
- Madam Roselle (Roselle Yoghurt)
- The Russian Whiskers (Juicy Mangoes)
- Emperor’s Romance (Raspberry & Lychees)
We had to almost physically restrain our colleagues to take some pictures before letting them dig in!
There were no two slices that tasted the same at all and it was difficult to choose our favourite. The best part about these cakes was that they weren’t overly sweet thus making you enjoy it more.
However, the most unique one in our opinion was definitely the Maneki Neko with its perfect balance of sweet and sour flavours reminded us of Mandarin oranges!
Next is definitely the Madam Roselle where if you’re an ardent Mamak-goer, you’ll definitely recognize the familiar Sirap bandung flavour.
If you’re not already tempted by this, they offer other exciting flavours too. Durian lovers, make sure to try their King Cat of the Mountain made from premium durians which also happens to be one of their top sellers.
Or another unique Malaysian flavour is definitely the Milo Dinosaur cheesecake!
