Everything started with Adeline allegedly dodging e-hailing fares until she found unexpected fame online when business organisations began to invite her for Facebook live sessions.

1 of the businessmen, Yao Wang Herbal expressed regrets in inviting Adeline for a live session after things went south.

For context, Adeline made offensive jokes during 1 of the Facebook live sessions, to which Yao Wang Herbal demanded an apology. Adeline refused to and started to claim that the organisation was selling fake herbal products. Yao Wang Herbal also asked Adeline to return the money for failing to fulfill the job, but he did not get his money back.

Upset and disappointed, Yao Wang decided to lodge a police report, as shared on his Facebook post.

“I’ve lodged a police report and told the police everything about Adeline. She must receive punishments for her wrongdoings.”

Is the road to hell paved with good intentions?

In his post, Yao Wang Herbal admitted to reaching out to Adeline earlier with only one intention – to help her.

It didn’t take long for Yao Wang Herbal to regret the decision when the good intention was repaid with Adeline’s betrayal.

“We had to ‘cancel’ her because we didn’t want her to do any more damage.”

He also admitted to seeing potential in Adeline, hence the invitation.

“We were hoping that the live sessions could be the end of the ugly cycles, but we noticed Adeline cannot be educated anymore. So, we stopped.”

Yao Wang Herbal also assured the public that Adeline is, in no way, an OKU or mentally ill. In fact, he claimed that,

“She knows what she’s doing. She’s a criminal with high emotional intelligence. We wanted to help her but she didn’t appreciate the chances that we had given.”

Yao Wang Herbal also said that his business had dropped significantly after the incident involving Adeline.
