You don’t have to wait for Valentine’s Day to show your appreciation to your other half, but to not have the important person by your side on the day just doesn’t feel good.

A Malaysian woman, however, has no option but to reminisce her husband every day. In a Xiao Hong Shu post @蛋蛋 Eggness, Agnes shared the screenshot of her mother’s heartbreaking post at 4 am on February 14, in which the latter took a trip down memory lane and recalled how her husband had never missed giving flowers on V-Day every year.

Sadly, the gift-giving stopped. Agnes’ father passed away last year, making this year’s V-Day not only emotional for her mother but also for the entire family.

“My mum’s FB post at 4 am made me a little teary. Happy Birthday, dad. It has been almost a year since you left us. Time flies,” Agnes wrote in her post.

Coincidentally, Valentine’s Day was also her dad’s birthday, and her mother would never miss receiving flowers from the loving man.

“Dear husband, our kids and I are missing you. Are you doing well in heaven?” Agnes’ mother expressed.

“My mum saw it coming”

In a conversation with WORLD OF BUZZ, Agnes said that her deceased father had always battled with kidney issues.

“His condition was uncertain, and he needed to visit the hospital frequently.”

The conversation got emotional when Agnes told WORLD OF BUZZ that her father left without saying anything.

“He was warded last year. He was taking a shower and he collapsed after he came out. He left just like like that.”

However, Agnes’ mother foresaw the death, especially when her husband constantly mentioned the places he had always wanted to go.

“My mum foresaw it, so she did her very best in spending time with him.”

Condolences to Agnes and her family. Grieving is never easy, especially when it involves a death in the house. Cherish the presence of our loved ones, and you don’t have to wait until any special occasion to show your love.
