In less than 15 hours, 2 Malaysian students, in isolated incidents, lost their precious lives after both jumped from a condominium in Setapak, Kuala Lumpur.
The first case involved a 22-year-old female student from Block A of the condominium, who left a note, admitting that she couldn’t bear the pressure. However, the male student who jumped about 14 hours later did not explain why he took his own life.

Family members are shaken by the loss of Kwok Jun Hao
According to his family member, the deceased, Kwok Jun Hao (transliteration), had always been a student of academic excellence, including when he was in primary and secondary school.
Jun Hao grew up with his grandparents after his parents’ divorce. According to Jun Hao’s uncle, he said that the deceased had a good relationship with them.
“He never disclosed his situation to us, although he would return home during holidays. The last time we saw him was last month.”
Jun Hao’s uncle added that when they last saw him last month, the former did not show any unusual signs of unhappiness, nor did he share anything with the family.

According to Sin Chew, Jun Hao hailed from Sitiawan, Perak, and he had no family or relatives in Kuala Lumpur. Jun Hao also had a younger brother, who grew up together with their grandparents as their father passed away years ago, and their mother has a new family.
Despite his academic excellence, Jun Hao’s family said that he was a quiet person and rarely discussed his issues with the family.
Jun Hao fell from over 20th floor of the condominium onto the basketball court. As of the time of writing, the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) have yet to release a statement on the matter.
