You’ve probably had a bantal busuk when you were growing up and chances are it’s still with you now, even though we’re all grown up. A bantal busuk is something that will accompany us through the ages! However, if there’s one thing that most of us bantal busuk owners agree on, it’s that we must preserve that heavenly smell no matter what the cost.
This means that we rarely wash it (if ever) and who knows how clean it really is! No matter what, we still love our bantal busuk and would protect it with our lives. Recently, a netizen from Taiwan shared her experience helping her elder sister handwash her bantal busuk of over 10 years, a little blanket.
According to ET Today, the girl said that she had another sister and all three of them had bantal busuk as well, and she totally understood that it was an ordeal to actually wash it. One day, the girl said that she had finally managed to persuade her sister to wash the blanket.
She said that this particular blanket had not been washed since her sister was in university until she was now married and had her own kids. She was surprised when she started washing the blanket, which quickly turned into shock as the basin of water she was using turned into a muddy brown colour. Not unlike the colour of bubble tea!
Apparently, she took a video of herself washing the blanket and boy, it looks rather nasty. In the soap-filled water, you can see that the blanket is the same brown colour as the water as she soaks it inside. She said, “Before this, I suspected that I had the dirtiest bantal busuk but after today, I discovered that she is the champion.”
She explained that she had to wash the blanket more than 10 times before it was finally clean enough and during the whole process, she said she could not stop laughing. Netizens who saw the video were shocked by the condition of the water while some protested and said that a bantal busuk should never be washed.
Now, what about you? Do you still want to hug and smell your bantal busuk even though it might be dirtier just as dirty as this one?
