WATCH: Whales Spotted Near Redang Island, Delighting Tourists

A rare whale sighting occurred near Pulau Redang, and videos of the sighting have been posted on social media.

Probably the first of many, here is a video of how enthusiastic this man was when he saw the whale.

“Whale, whale, whale, whale……” was all he shouted throughout the video, which probably indicates that this was his first experience.

Here is another video of the sighting.

Taking to the comments section, here is what one netizen theorised.

“I think this is a humpback whale. Now is probably its migration period. There are also whale sightings near Phuket.”

 

Whatever the case, if we were in this man’s shoes, we too would be equally, if not more, excited at the sight of this majestic creature.
