If you’re claustrophobic and afraid of heights and speed, this will definitely be a nightmare fuel for you.
Earlier this month, a Malaysian man, Jami visited a theme park in Penang and had some fun with the water slide. According to CNN, It is by far the longest water slide in Malaysia, stretching as long as 3,645 feet long, which is equivalent to about 1.1 km! Those who are always up for a thrilling adventure will definitely find this water slide amusing and fun but unfortunately, Jami can’t say the same about it.
In a video that he shared on TikTok, Jami recorded the very moment he stood on the cover inside the tube, and when the cover opened, he was immediately “thrusted” down the water slide in a flash. But he did not slide down until the end. As Jami was sliding down, he found himself stuck for a bit before he moved a little, and he continued to slide down.
Again, Jami was stuck.
This time, Jami moved around to look for a way out, and he started screaming to get attention. Fortunately, 1 of the workers opened the panel of the slide from the outside and without wasting time, Jami stepped out of the slide. Lucky for him, his nightmare did not last long.
We can only imagine if there were another slider on his way down and “crashed” into Jami and with that speed and force, it could have caused an injury.
“My 1st and last for this”
Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, Jami made it clear that following the incident where he was stuck in the middle of the water slide, he had decided NOT to board the water slide ever again.
“My 1st and last for this. I was stuck!”
The viral incident also caught the attention of the theme park itself and since then, they have publicly issued an apology via a statement on their Facebook page.
The management of the theme park assured the public that they take safety issues seriously, especially when it comes to the water slide, which is known as the Super Looper slide. In the statement, the management also graciously offered Jami another round of the Super Looper.
“We would like to invite you to experience the slide in the right way, and to enjoy our other great games & activities.”
The management added that such an incident is common and happens with other water slides around the world but assured that they’re not taking the issue lightly.
