Known for their weird and strange behaviour and attitude, Oyens are well known for their antics. From trying to board a bus, to waiting for their turn at a vaccination centre, it seems that there are no shortages of funny Oyen occurrences.
A few months ago, an Oyen was spotted sleeping soundly at a capybara enclosure at Zoo Negara.
Recently, the same Oyen was spotted hanging out and eating at the very same capybara enclosure at Zoo Negara.
In a video posted on TikTok by Zoo Negara, the Oyen is seen to be casually walking around in the enclosure as the capybaras looked puzzled at its presence.
The caption of the video reads, “Oyen is causing trouble again! And this time with Capybara.”
The oyen was even seen to be mingling around with the group of capybaras and even joined in their eating time by nicking some of their food.

This viral video has received a whopping 149,500 views and 21,600 likes. Netizens commented how they are amused but not shocked by the Oyen’s behaviour.
“Don’t play play with the species that is coloured orange. Even with a lion it dares to take some of its food,” said a user.
A couple of users even shared how they spotted the same Oyen during their trips to the zoo.
“When we went to the zoo, my husband kept pointing out a cat to our children… I thought that my husband doesn’t know his animals… turns out there really was an Oyen inside,” said a user.
Another asked if whether or not the Oyen really enjoyed hanging out at the Capybara area. “When I went I saw it there and they were even sleeping together.”
