Married couples can attest to the stress of planning a wedding, preparing for all possible scenarios that could go wrong to ensure that the day of their union would be perfect.
However, there are always things beyond our control and for this Indonesian couple, the particular thing is a random cow that went out of control.
Going viral on social media, a video of a wedding reception in Kampung Tongguh Barat in Sampang, East Java showed a cow rampaging through the crowd before making its way to the stage where the bride and groom were having a photo session with their family.
In the video, you can see the exact moment when the crowd and those on stage noticed the cow rampaging in their direction.
All of them then panicked and quickly flee, including the groom who ran and left his newly wedded wife behind.
However, the bride held onto the groom’s hands tightly during that moment, causing her to fall down and be hit by the cow.

Thankfully, the bride was unharmed and no other person was injured by the cow. Only a few decorations from the wedding reception were damaged.
According to the Indonesian portal Tribun Kalteng, the incident happened on Tuesday (2 May) and the cow actually belongs to the bride’s family, though how it got loose was unknown.
The top comments on the incident on social media are of netizens saying how the groom should’ve prioritised the safety of his bride instead of saving himself first. Meanwhile, others prayed for the safety of all of the people there and took note of the bizarre situation that they face.
