A disturbing video has sparked public outrage online, showing a family allegedly abandoning several kittens before driving off, with one kitten appearing to be nearly run over.

The footage, captured by CCTV and shared on social media, shows a Perodua Axia stopping in front of what appears to be a row of homes or shops. One adult cat is released and quickly runs off, while an older child is seen dumping three kittens from a sack.

After the children return to the car, one leans out of the window and calls to the kittens. Two begin walking toward the vehicle, with one moving underneath it. As the car drives away, the kitten narrowly avoids being crushed by a rear tyre.

Another kitten is seen chasing the car as it turns and leaves the frame, while the remaining two stay by the curb.

The one-minute, 11-second clip was uploaded to TikTok and has since gone viral, amassing over 274k views and nearly 900 comments. It has also spread across other social media platforms, with netizens condemning the act and calling for accountability.
