A Malaysian bus driver received the scolding of his lifetime for allegedly telling passengers to drive the bus themselves after several of them told him to slow down.
Netizen, Lah Abdul Empire, took to his TikTok page to share a video of the scolding, as he recounted how the bus driver, who was driving passengers from Kuala Lumpur to Mersing, had been speeding while driving in the middle of the night.

The incident took place at around 4am
He wrote, “Advice had already been given, but he simply told us to drive the bus ourselves. That’s what he gets. I hope he regrets his job as a bus driver after this.”
The furious passenger in the video could be heard scolding the bus driver by calling him “stupid” multiple times and shouting at him for driving in a “haram (forbidden)” manner.
In the comment section of his post, he explained that the scolding incident had happened at 4am as the bus driver was still speeding despite being told to slow down multiple times. On top of that, the driver was allegedly watching TikTok videos while driving.

“We were passengers in this bus, and this incident happened at 4am. The bus was going at a speed of 90km/h to 110km/h on a winding road. This wasn’t on a highway; it was a back road from KL to Mersing. The driver was even on TikTok while driving the bus that fast!” he added.
He also clarified that the bus driver did slow down for the rest of the journey following the scolding, and that he and his family only took the bus as there were about 24 of them travelling from KL to Mersing.
As of the time of writing, the video has garnered over 1.5 million views and almost 18,000 shares.
“Serves him right!”
Considering how the bus driver did not listen to the passengers’ initial advice to slow down, and how bus passengers have lost their lives in recent accidents involving a bus, Malaysians felt satisfied by how the driver was scolded.

“It’s good that there was that one person brave enough to confront the driver when the bus is being driven in a dangerous manner. Good job, brother, because this is the season of buses overturning.”

“I support this brother. Why is everyone else remaining quiet? We need to be like this, brave and willing to take action. If everyone was responsible like this, our country would be a safe place.”

“I don’t know why I feel satisfied hearing this brother scold the bus driver like that. He was confronted nicely but he didn’t listen. That’s what he gets.”

“Good job, brother. You represented everyone who was scared that the driver was driving fast. When confronted nicely, we’d get scolded. When rude words are used, then we’d be called ill-mannered. Lives are not sold at shops. This is good, brother. I support you.”
