A video reshared by MYNEWSHUB, originally posted by a TikTok user, has caught the attention of the Johor Bahru Utara District Police after showing a motorcyclist hitting another man.
According to Johor Bahru Utara district police chief ACP Balveer Singh Mahindar Singh, a 29-year-old local man filed a police report about the incident on March 24 at 4:29 PM.


He struck the victim before fleeing
In a statement, investigations found that the incident happened on March 23 at around 4:40 PM at the intersection of Jalan Tampoi and Jalan Persiaran Tanjung, Johor Bahru.
In the video, the unknown rider was seen arguing with the victim before suddenly hitting him multiple times on the head and then taking off.
Balveer also shared that the victim, who was on a motorcycle, had a disagreement with the other rider, which escalated into an assault.


The suspect could face up to a year in prison
The case is being investigated under Section 323 of the Penal Code for causing intentional harm. If found guilty, the offender could face up to 1 year in prison, a fine of RM2,000, or both.
