During the weekend, a man went viral on social media after he was caught urinating in the parking lot of a shopping mall in Klang Valley. Not only that, but he also ignored the woman who called him out for his indecent behaviour.

On Tuesday, PDRM in Subang Jaya released a statement and revealed that they were on the hunt for the man. He was revealed to be a Malaysian man who is a permanent resident (PR) in Australia, and at the time of the incident, he was in Malaysia to visit his relatives. However, the police did not have to wait long before they got their hands on the man.

On the same day (November 21), the man surrendered himself to the police at the Subang Jaya police station around 11:15 am.

Investigations on the man showed no past criminal records. The 32-year-old man was asked by Magistrate Court to pay a fine of RM100.

The viral incident took place on 16 November, when the man was called out for urinating publicly at the basement parking. He was spotted by a Malaysian woman who was at the scene to feed the strays, and when he was approached, he admitted to seeing the washroom on his way out.

He then casually walked into the passenger seat of his car before leaving the scene.

PDRM also urged the public NOT to engage in any public indecent behavior, and as adult and responsible citizens, we shouldn’t be reminded to remain civilised in public. Hopefully, this matter will serve as a lesson to others.
