It’s not a good thing to have anything from your car, including the accessories damaged, especially when you know it’s someone else’s handiwork but don’t have the proof the make your point.
Following the viral incident at a carwash center in JB where a Malaysian woman said her car key was damaged by one of the staff, the car wash’s management has since responded via a viral FB post. They denied ALL allegations and insisted that the damaged car key was not their fault.
“The customer caused chaos, went berserk, and blamed our boss for damaging her car key.”
It was also said that the customer purchased the package to eliminate some pests in her car. When she returned to the car wash center to pick up her car, the engine was already turned on. To the staff, it was the customer’s full responsibility because the key was only damaged and broken when she left the place.
A few hours after the incident, Google’s review of the shop was bombarded with negative reviews about the incident, which affected the boss.
“Boss was in a bad mood after the incident.”
The management also kindly requested the loyal customers to drop some positive feedback on Google reviews to “control the damage”.
“I’m sorry, but not for damaging the key”
The boss who had an argument with the customer also issued a public apology in another FB post for the matter. However, he, too, insisted that the damaged car key was not his responsibility.
He apologised for losing his patience and for his unprofessionalism but made it clear that he was not at fault for the key.
“I stand with the truth. I didn’t damage the key and I know myself very well that I am a responsible person.”
The boss also said the video was only taken when the situation started to get intense, and when he had lost his patience.
“I apologise again, and I accept this as a test.”
Earlier, the customer said that her car key shattered into pieces when she was turning off the engine after she left the premise. Her husband and she returned to the car wash center to demand an explanation but the situation escalated.
