Fights and violence are never the solutions to any conflict, regardless of your reasons. Just today (March 17), a video that shows 2 men fighting with a worker at a Mamak restaurant in Cyberjaya circulated on social media.
The man in the blue shirt is seen repeatedly trying to beat a worker while being stopped by another staff of the Mamak restaurant. In the meantime, a man in a red cap, who was with the man in blue “added fuel to gasoline” by throwing plates at the Mamak worker.
According to Kosmo Online!, one of the men was heard shouting at the worker with vulgarities.
“You wanna call the police? Call then! Give me your thosai!”
It was unclear what else the men were saying to the worker of the restaurant due to the surrounding noises. Near the end of the video, the man in blue started to follow suit by throwing plates at the worker. Judging from the video, the restaurant employee does not seem to sustain any injuries.
The video has been reshared by many social media pages, including the Twitter page Cyberjaya Info. However, none of the pages provided enough information about the cause and context of the fight. At the time of writing, PDRM has yet to respond to the matter.
However, some netizens had their own “theories” and joked about what caused the fight, and keep in mind that the cause of the incident has yet to be determined by the police.
“The men probably got a slice of bread after ordering roti kosong.”
“When they’re sober and caught by the police, the drama starts. They cry and ask to be released because no one is there to care for their family. If you’re drunk, go home and sleep. It’s not wrong to drink but drink responsibly.”
“They probably got Menu Rosmah after ordering Menu Rahmah. Of course they got mad.”
“I’m wondering, what happens to the plates and bowls that were thrown on the ground? Do they wash it back? This is why I’m hesitant to go to Mamak.”
