Time and time again, we tend to always remind everyone that pets that you take into your home become part of your family, and they should be treated with the same amount of love, care and dignity as any other family member. But unfortunately, this advice goes unheeded as it has become almost a daily occurrence that we hear about how people mistreat their pets or worse still, downright abandon them.
In a Facebook video that was recently shared by animal activist group Malaysian Animal Association, the heartless cruelty of humans is yet again revealed in all of its ugly glory.
The one-minute-long video begins by showing a white car drive into the frame, before coming to a complete stop. A woman then emerges from the driver’s side before moving to the back of her car.

Opening the rear door of her car, she then lets out one black dog, and another white dog who is clearly handicapped as it does’t have one of its legs. In fact, the white dog has so much trouble moving around, it had to be carried out of the car by the woman herself!

While most of us would have tried to at least go and find a way to help the dog gain some of its mobility back, the woman did the most heartless thing a pet-owner could possibly do.
She abandons the handicapped dog, and even pushes it away when it tried to crawl back to her!

The woman then proceeds to drive away, leaving the poor, handicapped dog to fend for itself! How could she just do that?
As you can imagine, the video of the woman’s actions have gone viral over the Internet, with many condemning her for doing such a horrible thing to an already helpless animal. As we had said before, if you have pets, know that it is a lifetime commitment to a new member of your family. Don’t abandon them in their time of need!
