A Delta Air Lines plane skidded off the runway and flipped over while landing at Pearson International Airport in Toronto on Monday, leaving at least 18 people injured, including a child.
According to Reuters, 3 of the victims, including a child, were in critical condition, while 15 others were quickly rushed to hospitals.

The plane was carrying 80 passengers
It was also reported that the CRJ900 aircraft, operated by Endeavor Air, was involved in a solo accident with 76 passengers and 4 crew members on board.
Reports also said that at least one of the wings was no longer attached to the plane.
One of the passengers posted a video on Facebook showing the aftermath, with the plane flipped over and a fire engine spraying water on it.
In an interview with CNN, the passenger, John Nelson, mentioned that there were no signs of anything unusual before landing.


The investigation into the cause of the crash is underway
According to airport authorities, the incident occurred around 3:30 PM local time (EST) in snowy conditions, as reported by Harian Metro.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) confirmed that all 80 people aboard the plane were safely evacuated, as reported by CBS News.
The investigation into the incident will be led by the Canadian Transportation Safety Board, in collaboration with the United States National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) and the FAA.
Canadian authorities said they were investigating the cause of the crash, which is still unknown.
