The irony is at its strongest today in London because the UK Health Minister is confirmed to be infected with Covid-19.

Nadine Dorries has expressed her concerns on Twitter stating that she is worried for her 84-year-old mother who was living with her, prior to getting infected. Nadine stated that her mother had begun coughing today (11th March) and will be getting tested tomorrow.

The Covid-19 is known to be detrimental on people who have serious chronic medical conditions like heart disease and diabetes and elderly individuals because of their weak immune system. This includes Dorries’s mum who is vulnerable to the threat of infection as she is an elderly woman.

According to Astro Awani, Dorries has isolated herself and taken all the precautions recommended by medical professionals when she found out that she tested positive for Covid-19. She has since reminded everyone to keep washing their hands as a safety precaution.

Netizens have been expressing their well wishes for her speedy recovery and also hoping her mum’s health condition would improve.
