Remember being happy when you got 40 marks for your Add Maths exam just because you passed? Well, this is certainly not the case for two students in India who strived to get a perfect score for an engineering entrance assessment.
Meet Mridul Aggarwal and Kavya Chopra! Both of these students attempted the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) which is an engineering entrance assessment conducted for admission to various engineering colleges around India.
Both Mridul and Kavya attempted the JEE in February 2021 and when they got their results back, they were dissatisfied as they did not get 100%. Their scores were 99.99% and 99.97% respectively. Both of them retook the paper again in March and got 100% which means that they got a total score of 300/300.
The duo has mentioned in two separate interviews (News 18, Times Now News) that they spend six to eight hours a day studying for the JEE. They also aspire to get into the Computer Science program at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay.
Kavya Chopra has been named the only female who has scored a perfect 300 in the JEE exam. 600,000 something students took the JEE in March and only 13 of them managed to get a perfect score.
Well, we wish these two younglings a stroke of very good luck in their future!
