The funeral of the 22-year-old female student who jumped from a condominium in Setapak was held yesterday (August 23) at Nirvana Shah Alam. Previously, the deceased’s father revealed that his daughter had been mentally and emotionally bullied by three peers who isolated her prior to her death.

The three students allegedly involved in the bullying attempted to attend the funeral to pay their last respects and offer an apology, but they were turned away by the victim’s family.

According to reports by China Press and Sin Chew, the three students had requested to attend the funeral of He En Ni, but her family did not want those accused of bullying her to be present.

Her father stated that En Ni had experienced disagreements and friction with the students during a group project, and they had allegedly criticised and abandoned her.

En Ni, a third-year Public Relations student, fell from the 22nd floor of her rented condominium unit in Setapak at around 6:30 am on August 20. A week before her death, she had attempted suicide. According to her father, she was scheduled to graduate by the end of this year.
