March is ending soon and that means that it’s time for our goofy and prank-loving sides to come out as it will be April’s Fool soon.

A lot of companies use surreal things for marketing during this season and most of the time, it will turn out to be just a joke.

However, we took a double take and a triple take and even checked it on their website when we saw this Singaporean bakery named Baker’s Brew offering an April Fool’s cake series.

This series of cakes is probably a picky eater’s nightmare as they are covered with vegetables that they would not like such as taugeh, asparagus, peas, mushrooms and carrots.

Taugeh Cake April Fools Edition 1

Judging by the wording on each of the cakes saying, “Vegetables are par-cooked”, we’re very sure that these cakes are covered with real vegetables. Well, except for the peas one as it does not have this phrase.

The description of each cake talks about an unexpected flavour or combination which has definitely intrigued us.

However, the prices of these range from 108 – 203 Singaporean Dollars (RM378 – 710) depending on size and flavour, so it is certainly a prank on the pricier side.

Be it as it may, if someone is looking to have a house party or birthday party during this time, it would certainly be a nice addition to the event.

We hope that someone will try it and upload their review on any social media platforms as we’re very curious! What about you? Would you ever eat a cake that’s covered in vegetables?
