Future architect in making!
If you are always around Kuala Lumpur, you must have noticed this tall building that is still under construction. Known as the Merdeka 118 or PNB 118, this building that’s funded by Pemodalan Nasional Berhad (PNB) costs a budget of five billion ringgit.
When completed, this Merdeka 118 will be the tallest building in Malaysia, and the second tallest building in the world, after Dubai’s Burj Khalifa.
On 6 September 2020, a Malaysian architect Zuhair shared a tweet on how he “trained” his niece to be like an architect.
“Good luck Alisha for tomorrow’s national day replica competition,” Zuhair shared on the caption. His niece did not sleep all day just to complete a model of the Merdeka 118 tower and it looks great!
Just look at how detailed the replica is! Alisha’s Merdeka 118 model even included lighting inside. With a Malaysian flag underneath the tower, the model looks amazing, this is such an incredible work by a 9-year-old!

We are so proud of this artwork, and kudos to Zuhair, the architect uncle for helping too! Hope you win the competition, Alisha!
