A career, especially one that you enjoy doing does not only give you a sense of accomplishment and direction but it’s also a reminder that bills don’t pay themselves.
Local actor, Rosyam Nor recently shared his take on women with careers in a podcast titled “Should Women Stay Home or Work?”, and he was blunt about it – he doesn’t think it’s a good idea for women to work. In a TikTok clip by @suhanmovies, Rosyam said that once a woman starts working and earns some money, she tends to be egotistical and arrogant.
Women, what do you say?
Rosyam then emphasised that it doesn’t apply to ALL women but most of them, who tend to express their dissatisfaction at home to their respective husbands about the job delegations at home, such as house chores and taking care of the kids. The host then tells Rosyam that “it’s all about give and take.”
Rosyam then continued by asking the host if she agreed with his take on women with careers, to which she nodded and said, “It does happen.”

He added that some women who dress up tend to look down on their husbands.
“When they’re well-dressed, some of them might look down on their partners and wonder why were they married. She might also feel more appreciation from other guys, and that’s how a marriage starts to wreck. “
The host then told Rosyam that everyone needed to work today unless the man of the house could afford to provide everything for the family. Rosyam agreed that working women contribute financially but some of them have no saving habits, and pointed out that the wages are used to pay for their “wants.”
The host, however, responded calmly by saying,
“I think it happens to both men and women.”
