Friendship is certainly something that should be treasured all the time but when you’re a certain age, friends may be hard to come by.

In a recent post by Lim Guan Eng, he shared a bunch of photos they took when he went over to Mat Sabu’s house for Raya.

He took his wife, father, mother and sister to visit the minister’s house and have lunch there. What resulted is a very wholesome set of pictures and captions.

“Every year, Mat Sabu will come back to his kampung to celebrate Hari Raya Aidilfitri and I’ll visit him with my family.”

The former minister said that Mat Sabu cooked up the dishes with his wife and the taste is just unbeatable. He added,

“This is the Mat we know of who is loyal to his friends and the cause forever.”

In the photos, we can see that the table was covered with dishes ranging from curry, rendang, lemang to a variety of fruits.

The 2 families were seen happily eating and sharing the food with each other.
