A Malaysian man seems to have found a peculiar solution to his neighbour’s cat pooping in front of his house.
Taking to his Facebook page, digital creator Mohammad Fithri Ibnu Senafi explained that his neighbour’s cat often defecated in front of his house, creating a daily inconvenience for him. Hence, he decided to try out a tactic to prevent the feline from repeating its actions.
He shared:
“The other day, I shared that my front neighbour’s cat likes to poop in front of my house, and there were many comments about this and that.
“So, a few days ago, I tried buying chilli powder and sprinkling it around the area where the cat always poops while praying that the cat won’t poop there anymore and hoping that the neighbour becomes a bit smarter.”
The tactic worked
Mohammad Fithri went on to share that the cat has since moved on to pooping in front of its owner’s house instead.
“Alhamdulillah, the cat has become a little smarter and is pooping in front of its master’s house. I’m relieved and calmer now. I don’t have to clean up poop every time I get home. This time, let [the owner] clean up after his own cat,” he shared.
“I’m the kind of person who doesn’t want to get angry or scold the neighbour, as I’d get a sour face in return. From now on, if I see him cleaning up his cat’s poop in front of their house, I’ll smile sweetly as I enter my home and include a little ‘Hi bro, cleaning up the cat’s poop, are you?‘” he added.
