“Thank you, Abang” – M’sian Bus Driver Receives Thanks from Passengers at Final Destination

Being a bus driver in Malaysia comes with its fair share of challenges, but it is also a rewarding experience. Safely transporting passengers from one place to another and witnessing their arrival at their intended destination is an accomplishment that brings a sense of fulfilment. 

However, what truly warms the hearts of bus drivers is the genuine appreciation shown by their passengers. One such heartwarming scene recently unfolded, where a Malaysian bus driver, @arifmohdzuki, received heartfelt gratitude from his passengers upon reaching their final stop.

Arif took to TikTok to share a video capturing the touching moment when he arrived at the designated destination with his passengers. The video quickly gained attention and has gained 16.2K likes at the time of writing.

In the footage, Arif, donning a white shirt, exuded positivity from his driver’s seat, setting good vibes only!

As the video progressed, several passengers made their way to the front of the bus, indicating that they had reached their destination. With genuine warmth and appreciation, two women thanked Arif for his service.

In response, Arif greeted them with a welcoming smile, creating a friendly atmosphere aboard the bus. Moments later, another passenger addressed him as “Abang” (a term of respect for elder brother) and expressed his gratitude “Thank you, Abang”.

Arif’s joy was clear, radiating happiness from his beaming smile. After all, receiving such kind gestures from people undoubtedly brings immense happiness.

During an interview with WORLD OF BUZZ, Arif shared his thoughts on his role as a bus driver, stating,

“I genuinely enjoy what I do. It’s an incredibly fulfilling experience to safely transport passengers to their destinations.”

His dedication and enthusiasm shine through his words, highlighting the satisfaction he got from his job.

The video touched many hearts and also resonated with netizens who emphasised the significance of gratitude in our daily lives.

“Sometimes, with the expression of gratitude, it makes us feel happy and relieves our tiredness from working. It’s like someone appreciates what we do.”

“My father always used to remind us to say thank you. Say thank you even when we ride the bus or taxi and pay for it. Thank you to the driver who takes us safely to our destination.”

Simple acts of kindness, like expressing thanks, have the ability to brighten someone’s day and create a positive atmosphere.

It is through such gestures that we can cultivate a culture of empathy and consideration for one another.
