A man in Thailand successfully retrieved his lost phone, but his relief was short-lived after he discovered something gruesome in his gallery.
The man, Kung Nattapon, found unsettling photos of human skeletal remains in his phone, which he had never taken.

Kung said that he lost his device near Soi Chaeng Watthana 14, and after he managed to contact the person who found it, both made a plan to meet up in front of a 7-Eleven of a condominium. Shortly after retrieving his phone, he discovered the newly taken photos and proceeded to call the police, who traced the skeletal remains to an abandoned building in the area where Kung lost his phone.

The body had been there for up to 4 months
The police initially spoke to a homeless man found at the abandoned building, but when the man couldn’t provide answers, the authorities moved up to the 3rd floor of the building, where the skeletal remains were found on a mattress.

According to the forensic investigators, the body had been there for at least three to four months. The absence of stench and the shredded clothing on the skeleton indicated that the remains had decomposed for some time. A wallet was found under the mattress, with an identification card belonging to a Mr La.
Officials collected evidence before taking the body to the Institute of Forensic Medicine for an autopsy.
Mr La was a 55-year-old man. The police managed to reach out to the deceased’s elder brother, who said Mr La had left Chiang Mai many years ago to work in Bangkok, according to 3Plus News, a Thai media outlet. Kung also shared his discovery in a Facebook post.
Unfortunately, the brother had not spoken to him for over a year after La changed his contact number.
