Prasarana Malaysia Berhad is introducing the Keluarga Malaysia Pass to encourage the people to use public transportation for leisure and visits to attractions in the Klang Valley.
Based on a report by Harian Metro, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said that the pass will allow four people in a group to enjoy unlimited trips on public transportation for a day on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
For only RM15 per group, people can make their journey through the Klang Valley via LRT, MRT, Monorails operated by Rapid KL and BRT.
“This means that each person in the group only pays RM3.75 to use LRT, MRT, Monorail and BRT services operated by Rapid KL throughout the day,”
“This initiative aims to encourage Malaysian families to relax, go sightseeing and spend quality time with loved ones while visiting shopping malls or places of interest located around the public transport network in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor,” he said.
