“Malaysian daughter-in-law” Ella Chen is back in Malaysia!
Taiwanese celebrity Ella Chen who married a Malaysian husband is back in Malaysia. In her latest Facebook posting, she shares pictures of her enjoying popular Malaysian food, roti tissue and bak kut teh. She also added a picture of her posing in front of Starhill, Kuala Lumpur.

“Malaysia’s Roti Tissue, here I come!” she stated, sharing a picture of her sipping teh tarik as well as a tall, classic roti tissue. “And Bak Kut Teh, do you like the soup one or the dry one?” she added, sounding very much like a local.
Ella Chen also said that the standard sauce to dip the bak kut teh with is dark soy sauce, chilli, and garlic. She also expressed her love for Malaysian food in the comment section.
Her post has garnered over 10k reactions at the time of writing. Some netizens also recommended her other scrumptious Malaysian delicacies, such as Melaka’s meat broth, and Seremban’s siew pau.
