Sunway College & STYLO and Zeekr Malaysia came together to present VERTEX, the graduation fashion show by Sunway College’s Diploma in Fashion Design Technology students, held at Zeekr Space in Bandar Sunway.
Following last year’s showcase at the McLaren Kuala Lumpur showroom, the collaboration returns with Zeekr Malaysia, bringing together the worlds of automotive innovation and fashion. The distinctive setting provided an exciting backdrop for the graduating designers to present their collections and creative visions.
Named ‘VERTEX’, the show represents the highest point of creativity, innovation and achievement, a fitting reflection of the designers’ journey as they take their first steps towards shaping the future of fashion.

The fashion show brought together key figures from Malaysia’s fashion and creative industries, including Stylo International President and CEO Dato’ Nancy Yeoh, Mrs. Malaysia Universe 2025 Champion Vivian Tan, local Malaysian brands, global model agencies, fashion photographers, fashion and jewellery designers, representatives from LVMH Malaysia, Parkson and the Malaysia Official Designers Association (MODA), among other prominent industry leaders.
“There is always a moment when imagination becomes reality, and what makes this showcase truly exciting is seeing these young designers take that first step. We are delighted that Zeekr Sunway could be part of this moment of experimentation and discovery, reflecting the same spirit that drives us,” says Marcus Chye, Head of Automotive Division, Sunway Marketing.
Featuring 16 designers and 80 distinctive looks, the presentation celebrates the intersection of fashion technology, craftsmanship and forward-thinking design.

“Behind every collection is a journey of ideas, challenges and countless hours of work. Seeing our students bring their creative visions to life on the runway is incredibly rewarding and a testament to their dedication and the guidance of our lecturers. We are honoured to celebrate this special moment with Zeekr Malaysia,” says Augustine Wong, Director of Programme, Fashion Design Technology Studies.
Student Adriana Aiman received the Best Student Award, while Bryan Kow Zhe Hao received the Most Promising Fashion Designer Award for his collection, “bbbyyan”. Lee Xue Qi’s collection, “Bugs and friends,” received the Zeekr Innovation Fashion Award 2026, while Trinity Tan Xue Nie won the Sir Jeffrey Cheah Fashion Award for her collection, “Of Daisies and Daydream”.

Tan’s collection explores how memories shift and transform over time, taking on new colours, details and emotions while retaining their own unique beauty.
“I would love to be remembered as a designer who tells stories that resonate with people. For my collection, I explored colours and textures while staying true to classic silhouettes that people know and love. Receiving this award reassured me that I am on the right path and inspired me to keep working hard, challenging myself and pushing my creativity further,” she shares.
The showcase signals the arrival of a new generation of Malaysian fashion talent, ready to challenge conventions, bring fresh ideas to the forefront and leave their mark on the industry.
