This is outrageous!
Berita Harian reported that a Standard Five boy was arrested because he raped his elder cousin, 12, at their home in Penampang, Sabah. Two of them were caught having sex in the bedroom by the victim’s elder brother on Sunday (11th August 2019).
According to the Penampang district chief police, Deputy Superintendent Mohd Haris Ibrahim, the victim’s mother reported the incident to the police. He said that the 11-year-old boy has been remanded at around 12 pm on Monday (12th August 2019) for further investigations.
Mohd Haris was quoted as saying,
“Investigations are ongoing, the boy admitted to having sex with the victim four times. The boy also admitted that he was influenced by porn videos which he would watch via the smartphone.”

As of now, investigations are taking place to identify how long has the boy been committing this crime. Mohd Haris revealed that the suspect will be kept in custody for seven days to help with the investigation. FYI, the case will be investigated under Section 376 of the Penal Code.
He finally said,
“The case will be referred to the Deputy Public Prosecutor for further action.”
Well, we hope that the police will speed up their investigation and hand out the appropriate punishment.
