Well isn’t this convenient? 😀
Attention everyone! Starting April 22, foreign travellers will no longer need to stamp their passports when departing from Singapore.
Prior to this, we would get our passports stamped with our departure date at the immigration counter upon leaving the country. However, soon, you can just pass through without having the stamp. Take note everyone!
The Immigration & Checkpoints Authority shared that they are stopping all stamping of departure dates on travel documents to streamline processes and speed up immigration clearance.

“Since September 2016, foreign travellers whose fingerprints have been enrolled via the BioScreen system upon their arrival into Singapore are eligible to use automated lanes when they leave Singapore. They do not receive departure immigration endorsements when they use the automated lanes,” ICA said, as reported by CNA.
Now, this will be practised for manned counters, not just the BioScreen system.
Take note of this change guys, so you won’t be so blur blur. Remember to let your friends know when they are travelling to Singapore as well!
