Pasta sauces and packets of pasta are probably one of the more convenient pantry items for many busy people.
Prego is a trusted brand by Malaysians and they produce many types of sauces. Recently, they recalled a batch of their creamy mushroom carbonara sauce.
According to the Ministry of Health, the batch was recalled as they were spoiled.
“The batch had signs of spoilage such as an unpleasant smell, colour changes, watery and the liquid separating into layers.”
It is said that the company producing the sauce, Campbell Cheong Chan (M) Sdn. Bhd has pinpointed the cause of the spoilage as a mistake made during the manufacturing of the sauces.
