Over 400 children were rescued from GISBH-related welfare houses last week in an operation conducted by PDRM. In the houses of horror, the police said the underage victims were sodomised and taught to perform similar acts.

A Malaysian preacher, however, thinks the media is exaggerating the matter. In a viral TikTok video by @upk.tv, Ridhuan Tee said there were only “a few sodomised victims,” and there is no need to exaggerate the matter by amplifying “one or two cases.”

“The name of Islam gets tarnished when it’s only a few cases. So, I’m asking the media to please be careful in reporting.”

Ridhuan added that sodomy cases happen everywhere, including in other worship houses.

“Don’t tarnish the name of Islam just because of a few cases. Sodomy cases happen everywhere, including churches! We have priests who sodomise too!”

Ridhuan also said Malaysians have to be fair and when there are only a couple of victims, don’t drag others down and damage the image of Islam.

“This is why I don’t like when the media picks up this news and give it so much publicity. You have to think of the impact too. I don’t want one rotten apple to spoil the barrel.”

When asked about his take on GISBH, Ridhuan said the company has international connections, which is an economic strength that people should focus on. Ridhuan also said it is NOT right to damage GISBH’s economic connection just because of “the small matter.”

In the meantime, the Malaysian Muslim Consumers Association (PPIM) chief activist Datuk Nadzim Johan, who was next to Ridhuan also dubbed people who spread the rumours about GISBH “crazy monkeys.”

“MCMC should take action on those who spread rumours about this matter,” Nadzim said.

Dua tokoh tanahair.. #gisbh #ppim #profridhuan

Before his arrest, GISBH’s CEO admitted to the sodomy cases but claimed that only a few had happened. Yesterday (September 19), the CEO and his wife were arrested by PDRM. Stay tuned as we keep you updated about the police’s findings in this horrifying case.
