With Covid-19 cases still on the higher side in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor, you’d think that people would be more cautious so that the numbers can flat-line and we can all eventually go back to our normal lives before the pandemic hit.
But it’s humans we’re talking about here.
Sneakerheads swarmed Mid Valley Megamall yesterday (11 March) for the opening of a new sneaker and fashion store, as showcased on KL Sole‘s Facebook page.
Sneaker enthusiasts could be seen sitting and standing in long, LONG lines at the various entrances of the mall before it even opened. Some of them were even seen running around inside the closed mall as security guards yell and chase them.
The images raised many concerns as some of the lines and the crowds standing around lacked proper physical distancing, as people were sitting and standing rather closely together.
We genuinely hope that this doesn’t cause further spread of the virus and would like to remind everyone that things are not yet back to normal, so we should strictly follow the SOPs so that one day, it will be.
