What’s with all these dead things ending up in food lately?!

In a report by Stomp, a Singaporean lady decided to buy noodles from a vegetarian stall at Raffles Place Clifford Centre for lunch.

She was enjoying her noodles when all of a sudden, she noticed a dead millipede lying in her food!

Ewww!!!

Obviously, she was disgusted at the sight and immediately lost her appetite. What made things worse was that she considers herself a frequent customer of the vegetarian stall.

Needless to say, she no longer trusts the establishment despite being a long-time customer.

“I didn’t have time to complain to the owner.

“Suffice to say, I won’t be patronising the stall anymore, and I encourage my friends and family to do the same.

“Now, I always check my food thoroughly before eating it.”

This definitely brings the stall’s condition into question. We hope they clean up their act before things get worse!

It’s honestly alarming at the increasing amount of incidents involving unwanted creatures being found in food. Just last month, a Malaysian netizen shared how she was disgusted to discover a full-grown lizard in her curry while dining at a banana leaf restaurant. Yuck!

Meanwhile, another Singaporean lady was extremely stunned by the contents of her Milo packet drink, which looked coagulated or as if it was infested with some kind of fungus, upon inspection after her daughter said it tasted “sour and bitter”. #Gross

As such, let this be a lesson to all restaurant owners to constantly monitor the sanitary conditions of their establishments! Nobody wants any unwelcome ‘guests’ in their food and drinks!
