Passports are deemed to be the master key that lets you travel worldwide. Who wouldn’t want the key that can open the most doors, am I right?

But of course, realistically, there is no nation that has the ability to get its citizens into every country visa-free. But let’s scan through the 2021 Henley Passport Index and see which passports hold the most power.

Japan

The most powerful passports are ranked based on the number of destinations that their holders can enter without applying for a visa.

It comes as no surprise that Japan snagged the number one title yet again. This is the fourth consecutive year that Japan ranked #1.

Singapore

BUT this time around, Singapore tied together with Japan, also snagging the number one title. Both of these can countries travel without a prior visa to 192 destinations.

Passport

Malaysia ranked #13, right after Iceland, allowing those of us with a Malaysian passport to travel visa-free to 179 countries.

Here are the top 37 countries with the most powerful passports. To view the whole list, click here!
