We Malaysians would know it isn’t out of the ordinary to deep-fry fruits. I mean, who doesn’t love pisang goreng, right?

However, Malaysians have recently come across a TikToker called Scott (@scottsreality) who is known to post videos of himself deep-frying all kinds of random things.

In one of his most mind-blowing ones, he deep-fried rambutans!

Before you start thinking that could possibly be delicious, this guy doesn’t only dip the fruits into a batter before attempting to fry it but he does it all without even peeling the skin! And yes, he then goes on to eat them afterwards!

This particular video received over 14 million views in a matter of days!

In another similar video, Scott even deep-fried a whole durian. Yes, without peeling the skin off either.

This video received over 15 million views!

Of course, many Malaysians and other SEA netizens took to the comment section to express their shock and horror from watching the videos while some simply teased and mocked.
