It’s no secret that Malaysia is a country with sensitivities, especially when it comes to having dogs around our Malay friends.

Hence, it’s only customary for us to either keep our pet dogs at home when we’re heading out to public spaces, unless it’s a dog-friendly location.

The jijiee malaya Twitter page took to their profile to showcase a Malaysian woman ranting about a man who had brought his small dog to a mamak. But to make it worse, the man also placed his dog on the mamak table, where people eat.

“The kind that doesn’t listen”, jijiee malaya wrote.

In the video, the woman explains that the man had initially put the dog on the chair, but then he moved it onto the table.

“I don’t know what to say anymore because he has already put the dog on the table. Just now, it was on the chair. After that, on the table,” she said.

She then showed the man in the background, playing with his dog on the mamak table.

“Selfish, selfish!”

Considering these tables are used to eat and that our Malay brothers and sisters cannot touch dogs, let’s all be more responsible with where we take our pet dogs.
