The earthquakes in Turkey and Syria early last month saw thousands upon thousands of people getting buried under the rumble of what used to be their homes. But, people were not the only victims.

There were also countless pets that were lost and trapped under fallen buildings, scared and confused as to what was going on. Thankfully, rescuers from all over the world came to help.

A Turkish man, Hakan Kapucu, took to his Twitter account to showcase a Malaysian rescuer who had manage to save a sweet little cat from under the rubble during the aftermath of the earthquake there.

He wrote, “At this one, a Malaysian rescuer took this exhausted kiddy out of the rubble. Heroism doesn’t discriminate against race and species.”

In the video, the adorably fluffy cat could be seen snuggling safely in the Malaysian rescuer’s arms. Smitten by the cat, the rescuer even gave it a kiss to the head, as the kitty looked up gratefully at its savior.

We’re literally screaming at how cute this is!

Many have since shared their thanks to the Malaysian rescuer for saving the little cat.
