A video by Jejak Si Aden, an Indonesian content creator known for making videos about reptiles, caught the attention of netizens worldwide recently, garnering a whopping 28.5 million views and more than 154,000 likes on Instagram as of the time of writing.
In the video, he shared his rather awkward encounter with a mangrove snake at an undisclosed location, in which his private parts were bitten and latched on by the reptile.

At the start of the video, Jejak Si Aden can be seen reeling in pain while holding a yellow-and-black mangrove snake that was biting him.
The camera then zoomed in on the snake, revealing that it was biting the content creator on his private parts through his trousers. Ouch!
He then tries to pull the snake away, but the snake’s bite remains strong, prompting Jejak Si Aden to experience even more pain, to the point that he has to sit down on the ground while trying to get his way through the peculiar situation.
However, the video ended before viewers could see how the encounter ended. Based on the follow-up videos though, Jejak Si Aden did manage to get free from the mangrove snake’s bite with his manhood intact.
In the viral video’s caption, he simply wrote,
“RIP future 🥲🥲”
For context, mangrove snakes or Boiga dendrophila are endemic to Southeast Asia and are mildly venomous. While intense swellings have been reported, no confirmed fatality has been recorded from its bites.
