Taking to social media, a netizen shared a disturbing video revealing how a restaurant in Shah Alam, Selangor, operates.

In the video, the restaurant’s cooks blatantly disregard food handling rules and regulations, committing several observable offences.

“Look at this restaurant, MBSA. It’s operated by foreigners near Sungai Buloh,” they shared.

“The kitchen area has collapsed, but the storefront is still maintained. This is how they operate!”

Among the offences visible in the video are:

  • Use of subsidised gas,
  • Chicken coops placed near the cooking area,
  • Operation of an illegal slaughterhouse without a proper sewage system, increasing the risk of cross-contamination,
  • Broken flooring, which raises the risk of pathogen spread,
  • Workers not wearing proper attire.

Shocked by the conditions, MBSA has taken action against the operators.

Netizens, however, remain unimpressed.

“I can’t believe KPDNKK has turned a blind eye to their use of subsidised gas.”

“If MBSA still doesn’t take action, report this to the Ministry of Health. They act much faster,” commented another user.

Do you see restaurants like this operating in your area? Maybe it’s time to take action.
