Accidents happen all the time. However, not so much accidents involving luxury cars because those are not that common anyway.
Unfortunately, it does not mean that luxury cars never get into accidents, as proven by this Porsche that rammed into a pick-up truck over the last weekend.
On September 3, 2022 (Saturday) at around 7pm, the Petaling Jaya IPD Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Division received a police report regarding an accident on the SPRINT Expressway.
The accident occurred near the Damansara Toll Plaza (NKVE) and involved a pick-up truck and a Porsche sports car.
Preliminary investigation found that the accident occurred after the Damansara Toll when the Porsche driver, a local man, lost control of his vehicle and swerved to the opposite oncoming lane.
Based on dashcam footage of a car behind the pick-up truck, the Porsche can be seen ramming into theĀ pick-up truck that was in the way.
Road conditions also seemed wet.
The Porsche driver was injured and taken to the hospital for treatment.
The case is being investigated under Section 43 of the Road Transport Act 1987.
The police urges anyone who saw or was at the scene to please go to the nearest police station or contact the Assistant Traffic Investigation Officer, Sergeant Ainurur Ferdaus Binti Mahussin at 017-6345114 to assist with the investigation.
