Individuals who have completed the two doses required for the Covid-19 vaccinations might be allowed to not only travel interstate but also out of the country, shared Prime Minister, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.
According to Bernama, he said that the decision will be made during a meeting with the National Security Council (MKN).
He added that there have been discussions with other countries to allow Malaysians who have been vaccinated to visit their countries.
“I will discuss in the MKN meeting, we will discuss that whoever that have already received two vaccinations will be able to cross state borders and go anywhere without being hindered by the authorities,”
“This is something that can encourage people to be vaccinated. Not only in the country, we have already started negotiations with several countries to allow our citizens who have been injected twice and there will be a certificate so that they can move,” he said.
As of yesterday (31 March), about 215,395 individuals in the first phase of the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme have completed two doses of their vaccinations.
