A 9‑year‑old girl was forcefully dragged into a stranger’s house in Rawang while walking to a night market with her siblings, located about 500 metres from their home.
According to the father, who shared the ordeal in a Facebook post, the incident occurred as his children were passing the perpetrator’s house within the same neighbourhood. The man allegedly chased after his daughter, Raisha Falisha, and dragged her into his home.

In an official statement last night (30 January), the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) confirmed that the 9‑year‑old victim was sexually assaulted by the suspect.
Hulu Selangor district police chief Superintendent Ibrahim bin Husin said police received a report at around 8 PM on Thursday (29 January). The victim’s elder brother attempted to rescue his sister but was unsuccessful. As he screamed for help, the suspect allegedly stomped on her, kicked her, struck her repeatedly on the head, and attempted to strangle her, causing multiple injuries.
The 23‑year‑old suspect was later arrested by police
In his statement, Ibrahim said the suspect is unemployed and has no prior criminal record. However, he tested positive for drug use and has been remanded until 2 February 2026 after the Kuala Kubu Bharu Magistrate’s Court granted the remand application.

The case is being investigated under Section 324 of the Penal Code and Section 14(a) of the Sexual Offences Against Children Act 2017.
If convicted of both charges, the suspect faces up to three years’ imprisonment and caning for the first offence, and up to 20 years’ imprisonment with whipping for the second.
The father said he would usually never allow his children to go out alone, even for short distances, but made an exception that day as both he and his wife were unwell.
